


Jana breathes for fashion. Although she earned her Master Degree in Computer Science, she always loved working with fabrics and different textures, create an aesthetic whole by combining shapes, styles and silhouettes.
Her math background and understanding of spacial geometry helps her to develop flawless and figure-flattering patterns.
She started designing for her first clients at age of 16, and has about 20 years of experience behind her. After moving to Canada from Europe, she has completed her formal fashion design education at Richard Robinson's Academy of Fashion Design in Ottawa where she graduated in 2008.
During her study she has been nominated The Most Promising Designer of 2007.
In 2007 Jana worked in a designer team for Banao Ltd. (Montreal - based clothing company), where she developed collection for children inspired by European folk costumes. From 2009 she works as a teacher of Pattern Making and Haute Couture Sewing at Richard Robinson Fashion Academy in Ottawa.
Jana's love to art and drama leads her to making designs for many stage performances. She cooperated for 3 years with Kanata Ballet School and also with Ron Maslin Theater where she was a part of the designer team for Chekhov play "Seagull".
Besides that, Jana enjoys designing for her private clients, creating special one-of-a-kind pieces with using haute couture method of sewing. She is currently looking for seamstresses to expand her business and for an agent who will represent her in the world of fashion business.
Jana lives in Ottawa with her husband Milos, and two children, Martin and Paulina.
